Deccan Traps A Time-Machine

The Rg Veda, together with ancient Egyptian, Greek and Biblical texts have made possible the deciphering of a long period of close astronomical encounters with the Earth over a period of 3,000 years. This began with the destruction of practically all life that existed prior to 4000 BC. The Earth was wiped clean by four overturnings or inversions of the lithosphere, the rigid outer shell, 40 to 200 km thick, the upper 20 to 30 km of which comprise the crust on which we live. These overturnings caused the oceans to flow across the continents at a thousand miles per hour, covering the continents with ocean-bottom material which obscured all the previous terrain. The first two verses of the Bible state that the Earth we know today was formed by God but that in order to do this it had become void and without form:

Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Then the earth became void and without form and darkness was over the surface of the deep …

This word “became” has presented translators of the Hebrew great difficulty and is usually translated ‘was’ because they have no knowledge of cyclic catastrophism.

The Iridium Layer – K-T Boundary
Paleoscientists have actually found evidence of this great destruction in the form of a spike or very thin layer of the rare element iridium in exposed sedimentary rocks and ocean deposits in over one hundred locations around the world. This event, titled the Cretaceous-Tertiary (K-T) boundary, delineates fossils of Cretaceous and Tertiary organisms marking the demise of the previous reptilian world dominated by dinosaurs. The K-T boundary is currently dated at 66 million years BP (Before the Present). The destruction has been attributed to the Chicxulub asteroid crater in Central America, the hypothesis by Luis Alverez, prematurely resulting in the award of a Nobel prize. More recently, gases produced by the formation of the Deccan Traps has come into contention as the cause, because the iridium layer also passes through its deepest layer.
Cyclic Catastrophism suggests that both of these imagined ’causes’ were actually results of the much more powerful astronomical close passes of proto-Venus, within a few decades after its creation from a enormous fusion-amplified impact on Jupiter.  The close passes of proto-Venus to the Earth are revealed in the Rg Veda as Agni (Fire) and in Greek myth as Phaethon , the son of Helios who scorched the Earth. Venus was a blazing, molten sphere of liquid rock as large as the Earth at that date, outgassing two dark tails of smoke like a comet that were millions of km long as seen in the heavens. On its two close passes to the Earth, this outgassed material condensed and solidified in tiny droplets as it fell into the atmosphere of the Earth, leaving the global iridium layer.

Within a century of its creation, proto-Venus also deflected Mars, the Vedic Indra, into an orbit that intersected the orbit of the Earth. It was captured in a geostationary orbit and released one hundred times during the Vedic Period (3717 to 687 BC), at the points where these orbits intersected.  Mars,  during its 14.4-year geostationary encounters above Mt. Kailas, called kalpas in the Rg Veda, exerted a continuous tidal effect, melting then extrusion, on the Deccan Traps volcanism, the lowest layer, or ‘step’ of which, had been initiated by proto-Venus. The intervals between kalpas, when Mars escaped from its geostationary orbit lasted 15.6 years, thus each complete cycle occupied 30 years. Each kalpa produced an additional layer in the Deccan formation, which can easily seen to be of equal depth, approximately 30 meters and the total depth is 3000 meters.

Therefore the Rg Veda covers all of ancient history in the Deccan Traps from the destruction of the dinosaurs up to 687 BC, when Mars was released into its current orbit  – only 3,000 years. As the traps (steps) were being extruded, massive amounts of rocks and soil were continually blasted to the Earth from hundreds of Martian volcanoes. Along with them the oceans, atmosphere and biosphere (as Soma or manna), covered and terraformed the Earth. These rocks and soil, the maruts and vayu in the Vedas, fell from Mars between 3717 and 687 BC and now comprise the upper 10 to 20 km of the Earth’s crust.

The direct radiometric dating of the iridium layer is not possible since the isotopes of iridium have very short half-lives. Because of the influx from Mars, each layer or step was covered with a small amount of Martian material. Imbedded within this rock and soil, are zircons, tiny spherical minerals known to be blasted from volcanoes. These are the primary source used for dating buried objects because they simplify the measurement of the decay of uranium to lead (U – Pb). These also have been used to date the iridium layer (K-T boundary) at 66 million years.

Dating the entire formation of the Deccan Traps is physically impossible because they comprise 3000 meters of hard basalt. Instead, ten different provinces, where sections of the traps are exposed have been dated. This has proven difficult for several other reasons. Most significantly, the actual Deccan rocks do not give the ancient dates that geologists ‘expect’. To overcome this apparent obstacle they have reverted to using material between layers, sometimes called ‘separates’, assuming they are also from the Earth. This is stated in the cited paper:  “Because zircon is rare in basaltic rocks, our sampling strategy targeted volcanic airfall deposits between basalt flows and high-silica and/or coarse-grained segregations within individual flows.”

The dating in the paper agrees roughly with the dating of the iridium layer because it was also dated using rocks which had fallen from Mars. The problem in dating the ‘separates’ is that each sample gives a large range of ages because the material on each layer fell from volcanoes all over Mars. In the cited paper, an effort was been made to narrow the range of ages by being very selective, choosing zircons from samples with similar associated elements, and in some cases reversing dates based upon decreasing ages for layers higher on the section. Although the spread has been reduced, the data essentially reinforces previous geological studies, the lexicon of which favors great lengths of time, producing the same embarrasing result. Due to the fact that all the rocks fell from Mars, which is much more ancient than Earth, and that the most ancient zircon dates were selected, the data indicates that the Deccan Traps formed in a geologically short period of only 753,000 years, beginning at 66.288 and ending at 65.535 million years BP. The authors admit that the cause of the K-T extinction remains unknown.

The ‘mythology’ of ancient cultures combined with the Bible reveal that the creation or the bringing of flowering plants and fruit trees and the first mammals described in the Bible actually took place within the dates attributed to the age of the Bible itself.

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
