Mercury Then and Now

Creation of Present Earth

In the Cyclic Catastrophism scenario, the ancient Mars, full of life, was captured in a geostationary orbit above Mt.Kailas (Indra’s home on Earth) for 14.4 year intervals (a day of Brahma or kalpa) and released for 15.6 years (a night of Brahma) into an orbit of the Sun that intersected the orbit of the Earth (Figure 2). It was subsequently recaptured, and this 30-year cycle of capture and release was repeated one hundred times.  During this 3,000-year Vedic Period all of the atmosphere, oceans, soil, flora (as manna, Soma), fauna and rocks from both the interior and crust of the formerly living Mars was blasted to and covered the entire Earth, resulting in the world we know today. This all took place during a 3,000-year period from 2687 and 687 BC. These events are currently dated in the Cenezoic, 66 million years BP, based upon mm sized zircon crystals blasted from hundreds of Martian volcanoes, which tell the age of Mars, not the age of the Earth.

Captures of Mars

Immediately prior to this Vedic Period, the newly born proto-Venus passed close to the Earth, overturning the lithosphere twice causing the the oceans to overflow the continents destroying essentially all reptilian, dinosaur life on Earth (see K-T extinction) and all but a very few hominid (sub-human) beings in different parts of the world, male and female pairs of which were upgraded to Homo Sapiens Sapiens beings by the kingdom of God.

Proto-Venus then gravitationally ‘sheparded’ Mars from its ancient Venus-like orbit to one shown in Figure 2, which crossed the orbit of the Earth at two points. As shown, Mars was always captured at the Nov. 1 crossing point and remained in a geostationary orbit for 14.4 years, at which which time, the vernal equinox, proto-Venus approached close to the pair, resulting in Mars’ escape into its r&r orbit (Fig. 2) for 15.6 years, at the end of which it was recaptured. Thus each cycle, called ‘a day and a night of Brahma’ took 30 years. Hindu myth states that “a day of Brahma was equal to a night of Brahma” and tells that Brahma lived “one hundred divine years”.

The captures were the result of Mars locking onto the Himalayas, directly above Mt. Kailas, in the TransHimalayas called “Indra’s home on Earth” (31 deg. N Latitude). The gravitationally bound mass of Mars forced the spin axis of the entire lithosphere, as a unit, to be reoriented to what is now central Canada in order that Mt. Kailas remain rotating in the plane of Mars orbit, the ecliptic plane, while the Earth’s interior, thus the magnetic field, remained oriented toward Polaris. The change in the rotation rate of the lithosphere is evidenced by calendars of 360 days found in all ancient cultures. This and the change in the direction of rotation of the lithosphere acted as an angular momentum sink, which was returned to Mars at each escape. Each capture and release resulted in rotation of the heavens witnessed by mankind, as stated by the Lord in Isaiah 38:8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.

Each capture resulted in the rapid, smooth flooding in the eastern hemisphere every 30 years as a huge permanent tidal bulge quickly formed surrounding the Himalayas from the eastern Atlantic, Indian and Pacific ocean. At each release the lithosphere returned to its normal orientation and the tidal flood waters surrounding the Himalayas returned to their natural basins. Paleontologists have noted this back and forth flow in terms of a ‘Paratethys Seaway’ which connected the Atlantic to the Indo-Pacific, but date it from 65  to 5 million years BP, at which date they believe that ‘shifts in the Earth’s crust’ cut off the connection.

These captures and releases resulted in sudden changes in the orientation of the geomagnetic field everywhere on Earth. Therefore many layers of flood basalts, such as the Deccan Traps (19 deg. N. Lat.) located 12 degrees south of Mt.Kailas, each layer of which solidified during a capture period, all have reversed magnetic fields which are currently interpreted as representing the position of the Indian continent in the Southern Hemisphere 66 million years ago (chron 29).

Mercury and the Releases of Mars

The releases of Mars from its geostationary orbit were terrifying events, particularly for the Vedic people who lived closest to the Mars nadir point. Enormous convulsions of Mars were caused by the alignment of proto-Venus, the Moon and the Sun. It was then that the solid iron core of Mars appeared (as the Eye of Ra or Horus in Egyptian texts), then exited the planet (as the Egyptian diety Hathor, the Greek Hermes and the Vedic Sarama) through the Valles Marineris, zoomed to the East around the Earth in a low, fast, ‘slingshot’ orbit, catching up to the shell of Mars drifting slowly westward and re-entered it through the gaping hole only eight days later, according to the Egyptian funerary text of Pepi I.  The bas relief (Figure 3) showing the five volcanoes in the Tharsis region of Mars, from the reign of pharaoh Akhenaten (1330 BC), is, in itself, absolute proof of the close proximity of Mars (Horus, Ra) to the Earth at that date. It also shows the proportionally larger size of Mars relative to the Tharsis features due to the presence of its solid iron core when in its geostationary orbit of the Earth. More to the specific point, it shows the Valles Marineris below and to the right of the three aligned mountains distended due to the repeated exits and entrances of the solid core which took place every fifteen years during the Vedic Period. In Worlds in Collision, Immanuel Velikovsky noted anecdotally “It appears that a heavenly body passed very close to the Earth, moving as it seems, in the same direction as the Earth on its nocturnal side“. Unfortunately he did not realize that this was the zooming solid iron core of Mars.

Brief Affair of Mercury and Venus

After the one-hundredth encounter with the Earth, the solid iron core, Mercury, was deflected by proto-Venus and failed to reconnect with Mars. The solid iron core continued to interact with Venus for several centuries (Fig. 3) before both Mercury and Venus settled into their current orbits. At the same time Mars, sans Mercury, shooting a fiery jet of material from the great wound now called the Valles Marineris, collapsed and drifted out to its current freezing orbit. Interestingly, the modern world retains the Roman deity names for both of these bodies, but fails to remember their true relationships.

Mercury left Mars permanently in 687 BC as a hot, glowing, pristine, sun-like body, the solid iron core with a layer of hot glowing, sulfurous mantle material, clinging to it. In fact, the Hebrew word for Mercury is “sun star”. This pristine origin is still evident in the smooth plains that lie between the many craters, in contrast to the Moon on which craters fill every bit of the surface.

Mercurian Grid

Mercurian Grid

The rigid sharp rocks bordering the Valles Marineris gouged deep linear incisions in the softer mantle material each time it exited Mars. This is best related in the Greek myth which states that Hermes (Mars) stretched strings across a turtle’s shell (the surface of the solid core), and is thereby credited with inventing the lyre. Several sets of these parallel gouges were noted in the first images of Mercury returned to Earth from Mariner 10 (Figure 4), and were touted as the Mercurian Grid. Scientists have struggled to explain these lineaments which, because they do not cut across the enormous Caloris Basin must be older than that impact. They are less evident in the more recent images from MESSENGER, perhaps due to the great number of impacts that have occurred in the last ten years, but may have been removed because planetary scientists can not explain them.

All of the craters now visible on the surface of Mercury were made in the last 2,703 years since it left the vicinity of the Earth and are the result of the great mass of rocks ejected into space from Mars during its geostationary orbits of the Earth between 3717 and 687 BC still falling toward the Sun. Planetary scientists believe that the large number of craters indicates an age of 4 billion years but cannot explain the MESSENGER data which indicates a lot of chondritic material similar to the meteorites that still fall to the Earth.  Although there are a number of smooth non-cratered areas, they explain these away, claiming they are lava flows.

Mercury proves that the magnetic fields of terrestrial planets originate in solid high pressure superconducting material in their solid cores, not by the highly touted dynamo-effect. Mercury produced the magnetic field of Mars and still has a remnant of it, but the high pressure required to maintain it is decreasing. Consistent with this view is the fact that Mars no longer has its solid core or its magnetic field.

It is normal for any person to err, but only the fool perseveres in error.
