Proto-Venus was Lucifer
In Beyond Star Wars William F. Dankenbring quotes several biblical excerpts and interpretations, which I believe link the fallen angel Lucifer to the planet Venus, in my cyclic catastropjism. They are rendered in bold text.
Before the period during which God created and dealt with humankind, certain ‘angels’ were said to rebel against God. This does not appear in Genesis but appear as ‘flashbacks’ later in the scriptures.
When Lucifer and his angels rebelled against God, there was a shudder – a paroxysm – in the fabric of the Universe! Destruction! Paroxysm! Chaos! For the first time, beings who had been “sons of light” turned to the “dark side” of the “force” – went astray in a massive but abortive rebellion!
Angels in the Bible are called “stars” (Rev.1:20). What happened in the rebellion of these “stars” was reflected in what happened to the literal “stars” – that is, the planets and heavenly bodies in our solar system! Wreckage! The massive tell-tale signs of awesome violence and catastrophe in the solar system reflects the debris and results from the initial WAR of the wicked angels in their first rebellion against God, and their subsequent attempts to thwart and destroy God’s plan on this earth for mankind!
The event which marked the rebellion of Lucifer was the creation of proto-Venus resulting from an enormous impact on Jupiter – a paroxysm so great that the entire Earth,over 400 million miles distant, groaned. This had to be due to gravitational radiation, long-sought-after in the modern era. But more deadly by far was the destruction on the Earth by two close passes of the flaming proto-planet within a few decades. The debris from the WAR begun by the birth of Venus includes the main-belt asteroids, the near Earth asteroids, comets, meteorites and meteor showers that we see today.
There is an ancient Jewish belief that God set in motion a divine plan of 7,000 years, reflected in the seven-day week. The first 6,000 years man rules the earth, but under the influence of Satan, who is the “god of this world” (II Cor.4:4). Then the Messiah will return and bring peace and restore the Kingdom of God on the earth, and rule for a thousand years (Rev.20:4).
This legend fits our cyclic catastrophism scenario to a ‘T’. I maintain that mankind was created only 6,000 years ago by an advanced species from the living planet, priori-Mars, which had been dislodged from its ancient interior orbit by the rampaging proto-Venus.
The apostle Jude also refers to the punishment that befell the angels “that did not keep their own position but left their proper dwelling” (Jude 6). …
A much fuller account of the story is provided by the prophet Isaiah: … “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
“For thou has said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit” (Isaiah 14:12-15).
The term “son of the morning” here is the Hebrew word shakar and means “dawn, early, light, morning.” The name “Lucifer” is the Hebrew word heylel and means “the morning star,” in the sense of “brightness,” from the word halal, meaning “to be clear, to shine; hence, to boast, to make a show,” … Lucifer was a “morning star” who perverted his original wisdom and became “mad,” raging, perverting his brightness.
Obviously Lucifer was a later distortion of the original Hebrew. The “morning star” here does not refer to the present orbital position of Venus. It refers instead to one of the earlier manifestations of that planet, Savitar or Agni in the Rig Veda, or Pallas Athene in Greek myth, when it was in an eccentric orbit which threatened the Earth.
But his (Lucifer) angelic nature, consumed with greed and lust, became a loathsome thing, detestable, unclean, filthy, vile, putrid, ugly, distorted, misshapen, foul. He became characterized as a slithering serpent, a vile snake, a detestable dragon.
This legend describes the dark tail of proto-Venus forming the shape of the universal mythical dragon as it approached the Earth. Although the smoke (dragon) eventually fell to Earth, proto-Venus was banished to the inner reaches of the solar system. The same battle was also described in Revelation:
“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth . . .” (Revelation 12: 3-4). … During this cosmic conflict it is probable that tens of thousands of meteorites in the solar system were also cast down upon the earth, and that the solar system itself sustained massive damage, as we see attested to by modern astronomy.
The red dragon with multiple heads and tails was proto-Venus at its most destructive, when it scorched and overturned the mantle of the Earth. In the Rig Veda it was described as the ‘seven-rayed god’, with ‘radiant hair flaming from three terrific heads and mouths’.
John describes this vision further: “And there was WAR in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out. This “war in heaven” must have been catastrophic in nature. It must have been the greatest battle of all time! Armies of angels clashing with each other! The entire cosmos must have been shaken. The fantastic truth of what happened eons ago makes the Star War movies pale into nothingness by comparison!
But what Danenbring calls a “WAR in heaven” occurred throughout the entire 3,000 year Vedic Period. After an initial ‘battle’ (encounter) which placed the planets in resonant orbits, one hundred encounters took place, one at each release of priori-Mars from its geosynchronous orbit. This happened at the closest approach of proto-Venus when its tidal force combined with that of the Sun and Moon at the vernal equinox to effect the release.
These events led to the common myth of a ‘home god’ (priori-Mars) which rushes off, apparently to do battle with an approaching ‘foreign god.’ (proto-Venus). In Greek myth Ares (priori-Mars) rushed off to battle Athena (proto-Venus), or in an alternate version, Ares rushed off to pursue Aphrodite (the more beautiful aspect of proto-Venus), who wore an enticing girdle, comprising the cometary gases which flowed from proto-Venus.
Priori-Mars and proto-Venus were the pagan deities which the Lord Yehovah hated the Jews to worship. They built altars in ‘high places’ to entice Baal (priori-Mars) to return during each fifteen-year period that it orbited the Sun. Surprisingly, the very same planet was sometimes characterized in the Bible as the archangel Michael which fought against the ‘old serpent’ (Venus) in the WAR in heaven.
Peter speaks of the cataclysmic fall of Lucifer and his renegade angels this way: “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell (Greek, tartaroo, a “place of restraint”), and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment” (II Peter 2:4). These angels had “sinned.” But what is “sin?” The Bible defines it as rebellion, lawlessness. “Sin is the transgression of the law,” John wrote (1 John 3:4).
The casting down of Lucifer to “a place of restraint” refers to the final event of the cyclic catastrophism, around 300 BC, when proto-Venus, after interacting with the solid core of priori-Mars (Mercury) for another 400 years, both settled into their current orbits. The angels (lights) were thought to have ‘sinned’ by raging through the solar system.
In the following excerpt, the prophet Ezekiel describes the most prominent feature on the surface of priori-Mars, which was also described as ‘rebellious’ because it was cast down to the ‘earth’.
“Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; … Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou was created, TILL INQUITY was found in thee” (Ezek. 28:13-15). … Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
“Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, … therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.” (Ezekie1 28: 16-18).
This ‘cherubim’ represents the huge hardened lava column that rose up at the north pole of priori-Mars early in each encounter with the Earth because it is said to walk on the mountain of God. Flames shot from the top of this body and it collapsed numerous times when convulsions shook the planet, satisfying the notion that it was brought to ashes upon the ‘earth,’ but the ‘earth’ was not ours, it was priori-Mars.
Dankenbring gives an intelligent interpretation of the events of Genesis 1, as not referring to a creation ab nihil, but instead the recovering of “some great cataclysm”.
After the chaos and destruction which occurred, in verse two of Genesis one, God began a process of re-creation, reconstruction, if you please, which lasted for seven days. After the great cataclysm, the earth was cut off from the light of the sun, moon and stars. Darkness prevailed everywhere. As verse two says: ” And the earth was (became) without form and void (tohu and bohu); and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” What do we see then? An earth destroyed, in pitch darkness, covered by water, the continents submerged, due to some great cataclysm.
Obviously, Dankenbring does not realize that the cataclysm was due to proto-Venus, i.e. Lucifer.
During the process of reconstruction or re-creation, God first caused the light from the sun to penetrate the atmosphere once again, in a diffused manner (Genesis 1: 3-5), allowing day and night to become discernible. He created order in the atmosphere (verses 6-8). He caused the dry land to appear once again (verse 10). He caused the earth to once again bring forth life, plants, vegetation, of all kinds. As the turgid clouds and atmospheric disturbances cleared away, He caused the sun, moon and stars to once again become visible from the earth’s surface (verses 14-18).
Verse 16 of Genesis one does not describe the sun and moon and stars being created on the fourth day. How could light have been created on the first day, but the sun and stars which impart light not be created until the fourth day? The original Hebrew for “made” in verse 16 actually means “made to appear, made visible.” The Hebrew word for “create” is bara, meaning to create, as from nothing – true creation. However, the word used in verse 16 is asah, which means to “make” or “fashion” a thing from pre-existing elements. The sun and moon were created “in the beginning. “
When we put the puzzle of Genesis 1 together, therefore, we see that verse 1 describes the original Creation; verse 2 describes the destruction which came about due to Lucifer’s rebellion; and the rest of the chapter describes the process of “re-creation” and “renewal” of life on the face of the earth.
As David wrote in Psalm 104: “You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; You RENEW the face of the earth” (verse 30, NKJV).
What the author, indeed the rest of the world, does not realize, is that the true renewal of the Earth proceeded for the next 3,000 years, during the one hundred encounters with priori-Mars – even as the WAR in heaven proceeded. It took place by the slow but inexorable transfer of all the atmosphere, oceans and seeds of innumerable plants on the formerly living planet priori-Mars, to the Earth. The transfers resulted from convulsions induced within priori-Mars as the rapidly revolving pair (Earth and priori-Mars) passed through alignments with the Moon, or the Sun and Moon combined. The water fell primarily in great basins in Tibet, near the point over which priori-Mars orbited, while the seeds fell to Earth over a wide area, as part of the manna (Jewish), ambrosia (Greek), or Soma (Vedic).
The convulsions within priori-Mars also resulted in the ejection of all the near-earth asteroids, all the short period comets, meteorites and the regolith which covers the near side of the Moon, Mercury and still disguises the true elemental abundance of the Sun.
None of these bodies are related to the main belt asteroids. The main belt asteroids are, however, the result of the STAR WARS. They were formed by a giant jet issuing from the crater on Jupiter out of which proto-Venus originated some 6,000 years ago. A nuclear conflagration still rages in the crater and is marked by the Great Red Spot. The Earth was created in a similar fashion some 3.9 billion years ago.
Many factors point to some sort of a great change in the world in the near future. For example, the Jewish legend in which the world would exist for 6,000 years before the coming of the Messiah. Some believe that the physical world will be destroyed at the end of the 6,000 years, others that Jesus Christ will reign on Earth for another 1,000 years. I favor the latter, because it a more hopeful scenario and secondarily because of the great effort Yehovah has so recently expended to renew the Earth.
