Creationism and Catastrophism

Given that Jesus admittedly spoke in parables, why do creationists insist on their literal translation of Genesis?  Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning” – may refer to the creation of the Earth 3.9 billion years ago but the ‘beginning’ may refer to mankind’s time on Earth, for which the Bible is a written record.  Then after an indeterminate period of time, Genesis 1:2 reads “And the Earth was without form and void” – this is a questionable translation.  It should read “And the Earth became confounded and empty.”  This is a description of the state of the Earth in the immediate aftermath of two close passes of proto-Venus, which was born out of an enormous impact on Jupiter slightly less than 6,000 years ago (4000 BC). The Great Red Spot still marks the impact site on Jupiter.

As it swept by the Earth, proto-Venus tidally latched-on to the Tibetan-Himalayan complex and overturned the mantle of the Earth causing the oceans to flow across entire continents completely changing the terrain and flooding vast low-lying areas – thus the Earth was “confounded and empty.”   The Earth remained covered with thick clouds from the blazing proto-Venus, possibly for years, in combination with the smoke from every volcano on Earth.  Therefore “darkness was on the face of the deep”, but after a year or more this smoke cleared, [Genesis 1:3] “ ... and there was light.

Within a decade or two the rampaging proto-Venus ejected the most ancient terrestrial planet, priori-Mars, from its interior orbit, similar to that of Venus today.  This planet became captured in a geosynchronous orbit only 33,000 km above the Tibetan-Himalayan complex.  It was the biblical firmament, an enormous solid body, mostly green due to its lush vegetation.  When captured, all the water in its northern hemisphere was tidally attracted to its north pole which remained pointed toward the Earth.  Due to the same tidal force of the Earth, subsurface rock beneath the north pole of priori-Mars was gradually melted and drawn up through the waters at its north pole, eventually extending above the waters.  This process was described in Genesis 1:6 “And God made the firmament (raqiya) and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. … Genesis … 1:8 “And God called the firmament heaven … .“  All ancient cultures experienced the fall of many iron meteorites as the result of convulsions within priori-Mars, therefore the use of the Hebrew word raqiya for the firmament, which implies an expanse of metal.

Genesis 1:9 probably describes the subsiding of the flooding on Earth caused by proto-Venus: “And God said, Let the waters under the heaven (on Earth?) be gathered together unto one place and let the dry land appear.”

Genesis 1:15 “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light to the Earth.”  As the clouds cleared, the Sun, Moon and stars appeared in the sky, but a number of volcanos also blazed away on the surface of priori-Mars, which appeared like stars and were called the ‘circum polar stars’ in many ancient cultures because of the wheel-like rotation of priori-Mars.  Also the orbiting  priori-Mars appeared 500 times the area of the full Moon and as a result shed considerable reflected sunlight on the Earth.

The scorching and flooding caused by two closely spaced proto-Venus passes killed 99.9% of the sub-human hominid species that occupied the Earth at that date.  Archaeologists believe this was a human culture (Ghassulian in the Middle East) and fail to recognize how complete their destruction was. They designate this as the beginning of the Bronze Age, dating it at 3300 BC, but the application of tree-ring corrections to the radiocarbon dating places the correct date very close to 4000 BC.

Suddenly priori-Mars, previously quite distant from Earth, was only 33,000 km from the surface of the Earth, and given that the oldest Mars rocks (meteorites) are 800 million years older than the oldest Earth rocks, the life on priori-Mars could have been far more advanced than any on Earth at the time.  Considering that the sub-human hominid species on Earth up to that date were essentially all killed by the proto-Venus overturnings, made possible the creation and propagation of an entire new race on Earth with little or no genetic competition.  The following biblical passages allude to this process.

(Gen 1:26-27 KJV) “And God (‘elohyim) said, Let us make man in our image … So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”  Quite notable in this passage is the plural form of ‘elohyim, the meaning of which is: ‘gods in the ordinary sense’ [H430].  Some Christian theologians claim that the plural form refers to the triune God – the Father , Son, and Holy Spirit, but why not the Kingdom of God, which must truly be a plurality, i.e. God’s first fruits.  A later verse, Genesis 2:7 reads “And the Lord formed man of the dust of the ground … ”, implying that mankind (Hebrew Adam) was formed by genetically modifying the few survivors of the proto-Venus destructions around the world, since beings are said to go from “dust to dust“ in the Bible.

Thus the beginning of the Bronze Age coincided with the proto-Venus destructions and the creation of the human race.  The 300 year Bronze Age I (silent, or preurban period), from which no artefacts have been found, was the time required for the repopulation of the Earth by mankind and his ‘training’.  This was evidenced by the sudden rise of a number of great civilizations in the Indus Valley, Mesopotamia and Egypt in BA II, marking the advent of the first truly intelligent species.

Although it is not yet understood by the world, all of the life-giving resources originally present on the living planet, priori-Mars, were captured during the 3000 years of cosmic chaos in order to revitalize the sickly Earth during the Bronze and Iron ages.  This included all of its water, atmosphere and the seeds of innumerable plants, which fell along with vegetable matter in the form of manna.  This transfer is evidenced by the complete lack of these resources on Mars today, which was the mantle, or outer shell, of priori-Mars.  God’s hand in these cosmic events was reaffirmed by Isaiah’s prophecy, who lived at the time the planetary chaos ended, around 700 BC.

Isaiah 66:22  For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will [do] make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.

This so-called catastrophism represented the Common Grace of God in action, of which the entire academic community is willingly ignorant.  Their uniformitarian attitude, i.e. their refusal to believe in the intervention of God in the world, was prophesied by Peter 2000 years ago.

[2 Peter 3:3-7]  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.  For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Did God create the Earth 6000 years ago? No. But He did create Venus at that time in order to trigger the cosmic chaos which rejuvenated the Earth.  Venus’ interior is still liquid rock, but will eventually provide a haven for life.  This creation was done through the perfect knowledge of his physical laws, and we can gain an unprecedented knowledge of the Earth, mankind and the planets by understanding the catastrophic events of the recent past.

“There are more things in heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamed of in your philosophy.” William Shakespeare
